April marked a beautiful milestone for our community as we gathered for Spring Fling, an IBC Singapore initiative. Organised by Kelsey, Carmen, and many others from our women’s ministry, it was a Saturday morning dedicated to worship, creativity, and the power of fellowship. With over 210 women signed up, the atmosphere in the church was vibrant, filled with the joy of connection and a shared spirit of community.

The Crafts for Hope (CFH) team was honoured to be part of the day’s activities. Together with our partners from the Laos and Philippines mission teams, we set up a showcase of our latest Spring-inspired products. It was a delight to see the items—from our signature handmade table runners and lunch bags to our lanterns—so well-received by guests of all ages.

For those of us manning the booth, the most rewarding part of the morning was sharing the heart and people behind each item. Every item carries the story of a stay-at-home or at-risk mother, an Indonesian artisan, working to build a better future for her family. These pieces are more than just beautiful home goods; they represent the hard work and talent of the women who made them.
"While people often asked about the products themselves, it was so important to us that they knew the 'who' behind the 'what.' We want every product to be cherished not just for its beauty and purpose, but as a meaningful extension of the woman who made it." — CFH Volunteer
By choosing these handmade treasures, our community is directly supporting these women, providing them with sustainable livelihoods and bringing tangible hope to their families and neighbourhoods.

We are deeply moved by how much our IBC family believes in this mission. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, asked about our artisans, and brought a piece of "hope" home with them. You made this inaugural Spring Fling truly memorable. We look forward to seeing how these stories continue to grow!
